Niagara Glen
Nature Area
This peaceful retreat on the Niagara
Parkway, 1 kilometre north from
the Whirlpool Golf Course, boasts nature trails, a specalty Christmas
boutique, and a picnic area. Those who stop here and are prepared to do
some hiking down the Gorge
to the shore of the River will be well revarded.
The 4 kilometers of
trails are well laid out and easily negotiated - if you take your time!
There's lots of interesting geology and biology to explore.
The Glen is
unique spot of beauty to the visitor, an unlimited field for the
botanist, and a vast library to the nature lover who may read from the
rock formations and from the vegetation ever new tales of nature's
changing personality.
