A monument stands on the site of the most
sanguinary and stubborny
fought battle of the War of 1812-14, the Battle of Lundy's Lane, July
25, 1814.
Neither U.S. or british Troops claimed victory for this battle which
signalled the end of the War of 1812.
Several U.S. soldiers, along with British soldiers who fought at this
site, are buried at a cemetery on this site. Visit Lundy's Lane
